Dr. Nilay Yajnik has done Instrumentation Engineering from BITS Pilani , M.M.S from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai and Ph.D. from the University of Mumbai. He has over 13 years of experience in the IT industry with companies such as Wipro Infotech , Digital-HP and Mastek.

He also has around 27 years of teaching experience. He has mentored technology start ups and serves on the Advisory Boards of several organizations. He has several years of Academic Leadership experience including the position of Dean and Director of leading Institutes in Mumbai.

He was Professor and Chairman of the Information Systems Area at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai. He has several publications to his credit at the National and International level.

He is a Corporate trainer and serves on the Digital Technology Committee and the Higher Education Committee of the IMC Chambers of Commerce and Industry Mumbai. He is an Alumnus of the Harvard Business School Global Colloquium on Participant Centered Learning held in Boston, USA.
