Navrachana University is a full-fledged State private University. It was established by an Act of the Gujarat Legislature in July 2009. It is recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and is empowered to award degrees.

As per AICTE public notice depicted on the below link, Universities do not have to take AICTE approval, but have to be compliant to their norms and the same has been done by NUV as certified by UGC. You can read about it here.
University offers admission to applicants who have passed their HSC or equivalent examination from Gujarat State Education Board, CBSE Board, IB Board, NIOS Board (Open Schooling) and all the state board which are approved by Ministry of Human Resources Department, Government of India.
In addition to this, all the students who have passed their HSC or equivalent exam from foreign board who are approved by Association of Indian University (AIU), are eligible to apply for admission. Students who have passed their HSC or equivalent exam are requested to bring the equivalence certificate from AIU or bring the letter from AIU stating the validity of their respective board.
The admission process for BBA, BBA-LLB, BCA, BA(Journalism&Mass Comm), BSc, BSc-MSc Biomedical, BSc-Data Science, B.Design-Interior, BLAD, BEd and MSW is conducted by the University through an Entrance Test and/or Personal Interview/Counseling.
Admission to the B.Tech, B.Arch and MBA programs of the University will take place through the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) of the Government of Gujarat. Therefore, interested candidates will have to follow the procedure of ACPC as per their announcements.
BTech: Admission to 50% seats is done on the basis of JEE Score at institute level and 50% seats by ACPC.
BArch: Admissions are done as per the Council of Architecture guidelines. Student should have min 50% in HSC as well as min 50% in PCM and NATA score is mandatory.
MBA: Admissions are done as per ACPC guidelines and CMAT qualified. Non-CMAT candidates can apply for vacant seats if any.
Admission to the Management and NRI seats of the B.Tech and B.Arch programs will be announced separately by the Navrachana University as per the notification from ACPC and CoA. The interested candidates may apply for these seats as per the notification.

All the candidates who are offered admission are required to pay Fee for the First Semester and Caution Deposit of Rs. 10,000/- (One Time Refundable) at the time of admission.
Admission will be confirmed only on the basis of full payment of first semester’s fee along with applicable caution deposit. Fees to be paid by Online/DD, at the time of confirmed admission. Subsequently the fees are paid at the start/registration of each semester through DD/ Online Payment through Internet Payment Gateway.
In case of any Payment, the charges shall be borne by the payer.
Refund will be processed by Navrachana University based on Notification issued by UGC which is available here.

The Navrachana University follows a semester system with 10 Point Grading system where each semester will have Semester Grade Points Aggregate(SGPA) on the basis of credit and points earned in each course and CGPA on cumulative performance throughout the academic tenure from all the courses. Grading in a course is based on continues evaluation throughout the semester which involves quizzes, assignments, projects, mid-semester exams, practical’s and semester examination.
