One Day Workshop on Functional Composite Materials: Scope and Challenges

Objective of Program

With technological enhancement in various disciplines, the demand for the new sustainable material is booming which can replace the conventional materials. Fiber reinforced composite research are in roar nowadays due to its significant characteristics like less weight to strength ratio, cost, and sustainable properties. Innovative research in material, processes and product design which is vital for meeting the needs of cost efficient manufacturing for being competitive in the global environment. Thus the main objective of this workshop is to bridge the gap between the academic knowledge and ongoing technological advancement for the functional composite materials in terms of its scope and challenges. The expert sessions from both industry and academics helps the researchers to understand the key issues related to the composite manufacturing, machining and sustainability for various applications.
