Prof. Pratyush Shankar

Biography

Pratyush is an academic and a practicing architect. He has taught at CEPT University for over two decades and was also the Acting Dean of Architecture and Head of Undergraduate office there. He has extensively published. He wrote the book “Himalayan Cities” in 2014 (Niyogi Publishers) and “History of Urban Form (Forthcoming for Oxford University Press, 2020). He was awarded the 22nd JK Cement Architect of the Year Award in residence design category. His areas of interest in teaching in Studios, Urban History, Basic Design and Research
