Biography

Ms. Stella Joice joined Navrachana University in January 2016 as an Academic Associate.

Education

  • Stella is pursuing her PhD from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
  • She completed her LL.M (CRIMINAL LAW) from The Faculty of Law, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She was a Gold Medallist.

Awards and Accomplishments

She was a Gold Medallist during her LLM (Criminal Law) at MS University, Vadodara. A research scholar, her area of research involves the study of fundamental provisions of the Indian constitution. She has been awarded the Best Paper Presenter in a National Seminar on Education at Vidyanagar amongst 200 candidates.

She has served as an Internal and External Examiner at Sardar Patel University and MSU, Baroda. She coordinated First National Level Moot-Court competition as well as a National Seminar and a Worshop in Anand Law College and MSU, Baroda.

She has been a coordinator member for assisting reports for the members of NAAC, BCI and RUSA Inspection team in Anand Law College. She has also served as the Editor for the Newsletter ‘Shikhar’ at Anand Law College.

She has worked with the Red-Cross Society for conducting Blood-Donation Camp. She has published papers in Law magazines and Journals. She has also conducted seminars and conferences at State, National, and International Level.

She has worked in various colleges in Gujarat and has a teaching experience of over seven years. She has taught undergraduate and post-graduate students of BBA-LLB, BA-LLB, LLB, LLM, MBA, BCom, PGD in the subjects of Human Rights and Judicial Approach. She has also taught NGO students at Faculty of Continuing Education at MSU, Baroda.

She has been a Research Guide to many students for Dissertation in Law, Social and Corporate Internships. She has also taught for three years at school level. She likes to stimulate her students by constant research activities and programmes. She inculcates an atmosphere of learning through research.

She has been invited a Judge for various competitions in various schools and colleges.

She has been conducting research of her thesis for three years along with other research activities.
